Bain Marie


Bain Marie is a method of cooking,  where a recipient with water is place either in oven or stove top; and inside of it another recipient with the recipe that is been prepared is place in. The boiling or simmering water of the first recipient will then be the heating source for the second recipient. Allowing foods like custards and other delicate preparations, to cook with out overheating, which in some cases becomes the cause for the separation of the ingredients.
